A Subsidized Tutoring Project
WHAT LEADERS IN CHINUCH ARE SAYING:

"...Children who feel successful in their school work are happier and more wholesome individuals and more committed to Torah and Mitzvos. Rabbi Gartner is providing a service not only for the talmidim and their families but to all of Klal Yisroel. Any support extended to him would be a great mitzvah of not only Limud Hatorah and Shmiras Hamitzvos, but literally Hatzolas Nefoshos."
-Rabbi Yakov Krause-
Menahel, Yeshiva Rav Isacsohn Toras Emes Academy

"...Subsidized tutoring can make the difference between a talmid's success or failure... The consequences of failure in limudei kodesh goes unfortunately was beyond a poor grade on the report card. It is often a question of pikuach nefesh mamash."
-Rabbi Shlomo Tendler-
Rosh HaYeshiva, Mesivta Birkas Yitzchok
THE NEED
Limud Hatorah compels a deep sense of joy and satisfaction - that is,for most people! But there is one condition.

The talmid must be able to achieve success in deciphering and understanding what he is learning. For too many of our community's children, learning success is increasingly elusive. These children rarely, if ever, taste the sweetness of success and certainly do not develop the 'geshmack' in learning that motivates a life - long dedication to Limud Hatorah.

Instead, these children despair of ever succeeding in the classroom or Beis Medrash. Tragically, learning becomes less and less empowering and enriching for them. The impact on their future families by this avoidable diminution of the chashivus of Torah cannot be lost on our community's leaders and visionaries.

BUT IT DOESN'T HAVE TO BE THIS WAY!
THE PLAN
We CAN reverse these children's downward spiral by strategic intervention.

To achieve fulfillment in their learning, these boys must receive individualized instruction one - on - one tutoring to augment their classroom learning experience. Such intervention, provided by competent and caring private tutor/mentors, spells the entire difference between our children's failure and their success!

Its not rocket science! We have seen time and time again the amazing strides students have made after receiving this enhanced learning assistance. For them, hatzlacha in learning has become a reality. We sense the enjoyment they experience growing exponentially every day. The implication for their doros and ours is incalculable!

BUT HERE'S THE PROBLEM. For many parents, struggling to keep up with increasing tuition obligations, the cost of a private tutor is simply beyond their means. Additionally our yeshivos cannot afford to allocate the human resources needed for these wonderful but challenged children.

THIS IS WHY YAD L'TALMID WAS INITIATED. Yad L'Talmid working together with our local yeshivos, carefully matches an experienced mechanech with each child offering him important skill building sessions twice a week.

Yad L'Talmid engages leaders in our community to heavily subsidize the tutoring. Students get the help they need and needy parents pay a fraction of the cost.

PLEASE JOIN YAD L'TALMID AND BE A GUARANTOR FOR THEM AND THEIR MANY DOROS TO COME.
